New news is old news

Cops will continue to commit crimes against the people they are sworn to protect until the people hold them accountable.
And by that I don't mean filing a complaint which the police department will then summarily dismiss.
There's only one way to deal with a bully.
And you know what that is as well as I do.

Your Right to Self-Defense

As long as the police officer is acting lawfully, you have a duty to obey.
When the officer is acting unlawfully, you do not.
When the officer is acting unlawfully, that means he or she is committing a crime.
Officers do not have the lawful authority to commit a crime.
And you do have the right to defend yourself from a criminal assault.
That is, you have no legal duty to submit to an assailant, a rapist, a robber, a kidnapper, or a murderer -- even if the assailant, rapist, kidnapper, robber or murderer is a cop.

Are You Mad About it Yet?

This is what a police state looks like.
Why aren't you hearing about this on "the news?"

Thanks, Pal. I'm flattered...

If you don't keep company with horses, you won't understand this.
The other day, I arrived at the barn a little late and the herd had already been fed.
My partner was up in the far corner of his paddock where the crew had put his hay and grain on a high, dry spot.

As I started up the hill toward his paddock, I called out his name.

His head popped up from his grain bucket and he trotted down the hill and met me at the gate.
We greeted each other in our usual fashion, then walked back up and I waited while he finished his grain.

It dawned on me that something very special had just occurred.

I know that food is a "primary re-enforcer" for a horse. I thought about all the times we had led an unleadable horse by luring him with a little grain in a bucket.
But here, this old boy leaves his grain without hesitation, just to come over and say hello to me.

I don't want to make too big a thing of it, but I think it may mean that he kind of likes me.
Maybe I'm ok, after all.

When the Truth Hurts Too Much....

When my love swears that she is made of truth,

I do believe her though I know she lies.

San Antone

This is a really fine little song from the soundtrack of an excellent film, THE 9TH CONFIGURATION.

I hope you dig it.
