Last week, as a result of the Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara, California, this 3-day-old fawn and 3-week-old bobcat kitten were obliged to take shelter together. Seems they didn’t mind at all, bonded with each other, snuggled together.
We could take a cue from these two.
Maybe we could smarten up and put aside our differences at least long enough to deal with the tyranny that threatens the lives and liberty of each and every one of us.
If we don’t look out for each other, who the hell will?

Isaiah 11 comes to mind
[with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth... Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.
