Guilty of Innocence
Troy Davis.
Black guy.
Accused of killing a White cop.
7 of 9 witnesses against him have recanted, citing coercion by the cops.
One of the witnesses against him who hasn't recanted is the chief alternative suspect.
There's a truckload of "reasonable doubt" about Davis' guilt, but it looks like the State of Georgia will kill him on schedule, just the same.
Funny, there's no doubt whatsoever about the crimes of George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, including torture and mass murder.
But nobody has even arrested them.
In America, a poor man's innocence doesn't matter.
Nor a rich man's guilt.
Shame on us all.
