I had a professor once who lived through the Nazi reign in Germany.
He told me that a grandchild of his once asked him, "How could you let that happen?"
Knowing he had done nothing to resist, to dissent, to fight back, he said, his only answer was to weep -- and now, he'll never stop."

I couldn't understand him at the time.
Now, I do.

One day, a child may you, "What did you do during that time?"
How will you answer?

Don't be a "good German."
Fight the Reich.
